PGA Future Fund Recipient
I am honoured to have been selected as the recipient of this year’s PGA Future Fund which grants a player a financial aid of approximately 10,000 USD from PGA of Sweden and their sponsors. This initiative started in 1997 and has helped many Swedish Golfers take the step out on the best tours around the world. It is given to a player in the start of their career who have qualified for one of the top tours in the world, meaning the LPGA and LET/Epson for women and PGA, DP World Tour and KF Tour for men. The purpose is to enable some type of financial and mental safety for a player on the top tours as the financial burden is so high on those players. To fund a year on the LPGA, the costs are approximately 80,000 USD according to other players, and this aid is very helpful for me as I am about to start my rookie year on the tour.
