Recap- first 2 months as a pro

Hi friends! The first half of this season is done and man, I’m on such a cool journey in life! Grateful for the experiences I’ve had so far as I sit back to reflect on my way home from Belgium.

It’s not easy by any means, but I’m learning and things are starting to fall into place. I’ve had a little slump mentally, but both in Denmark and Belgium, I’ve made some progress. Putts started to drop, and irons were struck incredibly well. Looking into the past, those two components have been there when I score the best. I’m very happy to feel some confidence and freedom when hitting my irons again. It makes it possible for me to get very close and make lots of birdies. Another big positive from this slump is that I’ve still made every cut on LETAS and made some money. Big win to learn without losing!

Being a golf pro is so much more than just playing tournaments and practice. It’s preparations, starting a company, practice rounds that become important, talking to sponsors and partners, networking, administrative work such as accounting and planning upcoming trips for tournaments. It truly has been a whirlwind, but also so much fun! I’m beyond grateful for the team I have behind me, talking to me, and bringing me to peace when everything happens at once.

I’ll keep prepping for Q-school. All these experiences are so valuable to have before Palm Springs. I will spend July in Sweden at home (I’ll still play 2 events) and in August I got additional 2 events on LETAS before heading over to the US. Practicing and playing lots of golf, enjoying the long summer days and daylight in Sweden, and eat some good food.

Grateful I have the opportunity and ability to be on this journey, and I love having you tagging along!
